Stationed our Greenfield facility, our Sewing Operators are skilled in efficient and precise sewing techniques for Daycare furniture and kid's playsets, custom pillows, medical devices, and more. This position is critical to the growth of our fulfillment and branded initiatives.
Stationed in our Corporate Office, this position will be responsible for processing all paperwork for employees, stuffing and sending payroll checks, entering all information for each employee into our system, HR and Benefit tracking and entry, and miscellaneous filing and reporting. The individual must know Excel and Word and have some payroll experience. Hourly position with benefits.
saw department lead
Oversee, coordinate and direct the operations of the Saw Department. Manages proper flow and yielding of materials, hours worked by the department, overall efficiency of labor and cutting quality, and ensures all workers use safe work practices. Performs basic maintenance on saws. Oversees up to 10 people.
Saw Operators are crucial in the cutting of foam products. They are skilled in interpreting dimensions and performing quick mathematical tasks, while focusing on safety and maintaining a clean work environment. This position is full time during the first shift.
glue Department lead
Oversee, coordinate and direct the operations of the Glue Department. Manages proper flow of materials, hours worked by the department, efficiency of labor, quality of parts, safety, maintenance pertaining to the glue department, and yield of material. Oversees up to 10 people.
Gluing serves as one of the final assembly steps for a large amount of the units we sell. Our Gluers must be able to interpret assembly instructions, efficiently utilize sprayers to apply glue, perform important measurement inspections, and construct components into finished pieces of work.
packing department lead
Oversee, coordinate and direct the operations of the Packing Department. Manages proper flow of materials, packing methods, packing material usage, paperwork flow, efficiency of labor in the department and overall hours worked, final inspection for quality, and the loading of trucks. Oversees up to 10 people.
Serving as one of the last lines in inspection and one of the final hands to touch the product, the Packers of Foamcraft must maintain organizational efficiency while string tying, plastic wrapping, or bagging materials as directed and required by customer needs. They need a detailed mindset as they count and measure, ensuring that our customer recieve exactly what they order.
The first step in the fabrication process, the Planner must be diligent and detail oriented as they outline the method of cutting the correct foam in the correct dimensions, in an attempt to maximize yield and minimize scrap.
