Conventional Convolute

Convoluted Foam is a ridged design that has peaks and valleys. Using complex cutting equipment, Foamcraft can turn one solid piece of foam into two pieces of convoluted foam. Each half-piece takes up the same amount of space as one solid foam piece.
Often called egg crate foam, convoluted foam is lighter than a solid piece of foam and still maintains the protective properties foam provides in packaging. Convoluted Foam is also used to promote better airflow for the furniture and bedding industry to help regulate heat while sustaining a pleasing comfort level.
