Polyethylene Foam
Polyethylene foam is a closed cell, lightweight, durable
foam material. Based on its excellent vibration dampening and insulation
qualities, it is often used in fragile goods packaging. Additionally, it is
very resilient to chemicals and moisture.
Polyethylene foam allows manufacturers the ability to reduce
costs by using smaller amounts and thinner pieces of foam, while still
maintaining a high level of protection on their products. This ability of the
polyethylene foam comes from its high load bearing characteristics.
